Hello everyone! I hope summer has been treating you well. With the warm summer days we’ve been having, it’s hard to imagine, but it’s time to reserve your fall family photo session! It’s so important to capture your family at every stage – the adorable baby squish, first steps, awkward smiles and even the wonky teeth (personally my fave!).
This tree swing was a DIY labor of love and I am completely IN LOVE how it turned out! I’ve longed for a tree swing for years and finally figured out a way to make it happen – I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. These sessions are a great option for any age….toddlers, school age, sisters…even pregnant bellies! Babies are welcome with their mamas.
I apologize in advance for what must be my longest blog post ever. ;) Growing up in Minnesota and having all of my family still there means we spend a lot of time back and forth throughout the year – mostly in the summer months. Last summer I made a few fun trips for Minnesota summer mini sessions. The location was a farm place just outside of my small hometown. IT WAS PERFECT! That barn.
Still catching up from summer of 2014! :) I met this next family several years ago and have been blessed to have photographed them both as newborns and several times over the years. I love the chance to get to know the families I work with and to be a part of their lives and memories for so many years is truly an honor.
Another session from the summer…this handsome little guy just graduated the Bebe Plan this fall, but this was his 6 month session from June. I’m kinda sorta missing these glorious outdoor colors and the pretty summer light. If it’s going to be cold, I want there to be snow – not dreary days and gross dead grass. ;) Will is a such a charmer. He is never quite sure what to think of me at the start of the session, but always warms up by the end. And those big expressive blue eyes of his…who could resist?!? Is he not just the best!!! It has been such a joy capturing him over this last year and getting to know his wonderful parents.
