Introducing Miss Brealey on day 7.  I nearly squealed with delight when I saw her ‘lil fauxhawk!  Can you believe that gorgeous head of hair?  My first two girls had barely any hair for a year and my youngest had lots of blonde hair, so seeing a head of dark hair is different for me.  Not many babies come in with a lot of hair.  Brealey was perfect for her session, just kept snoozing through all the poses like a true pro.

Lots of babies in the studio lately, and four more to come in the next week!  Yay for babies!!

I admit, I’ve fallen a bit behind on blogging…stay tuned, lots of new blog posts coming the next couple of days! Fall season is in full swing! Weeeeee! Can you believe this gorgeous weather we’ve been having lately? (Knock on wood). It’s been making for some glorious sessions and perfect lighting! I truly enjoy working with families year after year and getting to see how much their little ones have changed from the year before.

A couple weeks ago the gorgeous Miss Harper came to see me at the studio.  Harper’s mom emailed me awhile back to get on the schedule, when I first spoke to her on the phone, (like many first time parents) she couldn’t contain her excitement about the session!  I LOVE that!!  I love when parents are so excited to come see me.  Just makes a girl feel good, ya know?!   ;) How cute is Miss Harper?? She was absolutely precious….complete with girlie, soft, feminine features. So divine!

Harper, Harper, Harper….what to say about Miss Harper! :)  Besides the fact that she is the sweetest thing ever, I have to agree with mom who warned me she was a little fiesty! Hey, nothing wrong with a little divaliciousness.  Nothing at all, especially when you’re this cute.  Harper was a little bit fussy on day 1 of her photo session.  I suspected she was having some tummy issues so after a couple hours I suggested we meet up again the next day, as sometimes just trying another day makes a world of difference.  And it did. :) Day 2, Miss Harper was like a different baby, slept the entire time, and didn’t mind my poking and prodding at all.  Mom said she loved pink, so lots of pink I gave her!!

Perhaps the flower is a bit much, but oh SO cute.  I think so. :)

This little bub was an absolute dream to work with….especially being 3 weeks old (Miss Claire got a little extra TLC in the NICU before coming to see me), but all is well and she is just as perfect as ever.  I have a bunch of faves from this session, and many of them are just subtly different, but I just couldn’t narrow them down any further.  She is such a beautiful baby girl.

She was soooooo pretty in the pink set up.  I just ADORE these!

I love her little face.  Her nose…and lips…and that precious little chin. Yum! :)

SUPER DUPER LOVE!

She was very alert for about 10 minutes, then went back to sleeping soundly.  Perfect for a few shots with those gorgeous peepers open. :)

The what 2 wear segment on the blog was HUGE last fall…and I’ve gotten some requests for what to wear ideas, so I’ve been scouting lots of different sites and compiling a post….and finding it really hard not to buy all this cute stuff for my own kiddos.  I’m pleading the 5th! heeheehee Hopefully this gives you some ideas…or at least a starting point to jump off from.  As usual, I am always here to help you with clothing for your session, so just shoot me an email if you’d like some ideas for your session.
