Hello everyone! I hope summer has been treating you well. With the warm summer days we’ve been having, it’s hard to imagine, but it’s time to reserve your fall family photo session! It’s so important to capture your family at every stage – the adorable baby squish, first steps, awkward smiles and even the wonky teeth (personally my fave!).
I apologize in advance for what must be my longest blog post ever. ;) Growing up in Minnesota and having all of my family still there means we spend a lot of time back and forth throughout the year – mostly in the summer months. Last summer I made a few fun trips for Minnesota summer mini sessions. The location was a farm place just outside of my small hometown. IT WAS PERFECT! That barn.
Still catching up from summer of 2014! :) I met this next family several years ago and have been blessed to have photographed them both as newborns and several times over the years. I love the chance to get to know the families I work with and to be a part of their lives and memories for so many years is truly an honor.
Another throwback session from May of 2014. I absolutely loved photographing this family! I mean….HELLO…gorgeous! And some of the nicest people you’ll meet! Check out those freckles…have I mentioned how much I completely adore freckles?! I’m sure I have. ;) Urban sessions and families with older kids are always a welcome change of pace for me. These kiddos were so sweet to each other. :)

Today’s blog post comes to you all the way from May 2014! Yikes!! Things got super busy last year and blogging kind of fell by the wayside…eek! Over the next few weeks I’m going to be blogging some sessions from 2014 and then continue on with blogging 2015 sessions in real-time. ;)
These two little people (and their mama) always put a smile on my face and make my heart happy – I just cannot say enough wonderful things about them. It has been such a pleasure watching them grow over the last couple years, and I know when I see their session on my calendar I’m always in for a treat!

I just got the email that I wait for every year. I couldn’t click the link fast enough!! Then it happened…I am slowly melting because every picture is absolutely perfect. I was thinking to myself “I hope it just goes on forever” (the slideshow), then I thought “wait…there are a lot of pictures here”, then it turned to anger because I knew it would be up to me to narrow it down…then acceptance that I just have to buy them all :) (just like every year). LOL
