Oh my gosh….this little man was a perfect little angel for his session. He slept and smiled, and slept and smiled some more, and kept on sleeping through the whole session! In fact, it ranks up there as one of the record time newborn sessions. We did several set-ups which always leads to several favorites! Just proofing this session and looking at his smiling face filled me with joy. There is nothing more precious.

Enjoy Cooper on day 10….he was THE SWEETEST thing ever. Gave me some S-E-R-I-O-U-S baby fever!! ;)

I don’t say this nearly enough……….I. love. my. job. Seriously. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to make sure having the best job ever isn’t a dream!

I am getting this one printed huge for my studio. Just so I can look at it and smile every time! :D

This little bub was an absolute dream to work with….especially being 3 weeks old (Miss Claire got a little extra TLC in the NICU before coming to see me), but all is well and she is just as perfect as ever. I have a bunch of faves from this session, and many of them are just subtly different, but I just couldn’t narrow them down any further. She is such a beautiful baby girl.

She was soooooo pretty in the pink set up. I just ADORE these!

I love her little face. Her nose…and lips…and that precious little chin. Yum! :)

SUPER DUPER LOVE!

She was very alert for about 10 minutes, then went back to sleeping soundly. Perfect for a few shots with those gorgeous peepers open. :)

The what 2 wear segment on the blog was HUGE last fall…and I’ve gotten some requests for what to wear ideas, so I’ve been scouting lots of different sites and compiling a post….and finding it really hard not to buy all this cute stuff for my own kiddos. I’m pleading the 5th! heeheehee Hopefully this gives you some ideas…or at least a starting point to jump off from. As usual, I am always here to help you with clothing for your session, so just shoot me an email if you’d like some ideas for your session.

This little man was SO handsome and had such pretty features (yes…boys can be pretty!) :) He was a wonderful little model, so squishy and cuddly, and he wasn’t going to let anything interrupt his nap time during our session. Gotta love that!

Last week I traveled to Omaha for this little lady’s session. They had some great natural light in their home, so I left my light in the van and decided to work with it. Miss Hadley was just absolutely delicious and such a great little sleeper! I could munch on those cheeks all day long. And those little lips…to.die.for! :)

We also utilized the nice light in their master bedroom…

And one when she was awake…albeit just for a bit. Such a pretty girl.

This little babe was just heavenly! Miss Piper came to see me when she was just 5 days old and was the perfect little model. Sleepy and squishy…just the way I like ‘em…and as you can see she is beyond beautiful and obviously adored by her parents (okay, okay, I loved her too!). I think she just might have daddy wrapped around that itty bitty teeny weeny finger already! :)

Geesh….hope everyone is surviving this brutal winter (at least everyone here in the midwest)? When did we move to Canada…eh? I’d like the mild Nebraska winters back please. Thankyouverymuch. :) I grew up in Minnesota, so I’m very used to the snow (and actually enjoy it quite a bit)…but this is just a little much…dontcha think? ;) I knew you would agree. :P

Happy Thanksgiving!! I hope you all were able to spend the day with those that are dearest to you. I enjoyed the day with family….now it’s back to work…nose to the grindstone.

I am so thankful for so many things in my life….my family…especially my husband who rearranges his life to make mine work (all with a smile on his face…well most days :)). My girls….because they are the reason I do what I do. My friends…who are awesomely AWESOME! And last, but certainly not least….my clients….for entrusting me with the most special moments in your lives and for allowing me to do something I am so passionate about.

Last week I met this little lady. She wanted no part in sleeping the day of her session. :)

After some soothing and sweet talking, she was putty in my hands…even gave this sweet little smirk.

Just a quick update on the fall schedule. Sessions are almost booked for the entire fall season. I do have some availability for newborns and maternity sessions in October/November/December. I have just a couple regular session dates available. Please see the dates above. If those dates don’t work for you, I will be starting a waiting list in the event that my schedule changes. If you are interested in a newborn or maternity session in 2009 please contact me ASAP so I can get you on the schedule!

October is definitely shaping up to be the month of newborns! I have 4 clients due in one week alone, it could get interesting! :)
