Miracle (mir-a-cle): 1. An effect or extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause. 2. Such an effect or event manifesting or considered as a work of God. 3. A wonder; marvel.
These little ladies define miracle in every sense of the word. They arrived a bit ahead of schedule, around 30 weeks if I remember correctly, with both just over 3 lbs. at birth. When I got the inquiry about photographing them in the NICU I was so excited, as they are the smallest little ones I’ve photographed in the NICU to date. It’s through another miracle that both of them are doing just marvelously and should be heading home in no time!
