I have had so much fun with this family over this past year. I’m so blessed to have such truly amazing clients! Miss Brealey recently turned the big O-N-E and this was the final session of her baby plan. *sad face* She is such a doll baby. You can’t look at her and NOT smile.

Yikes! I just realized it’s been nearly a month since I’ve blogged! Bad blogger. I’ve been busy, busy, busy shooting adorable kiddos and families this fall. Tons and tons of sessions to share. Stay tuned!

FYI: I am booked for the remainder of 2011 except for newborn sessions. If you’re hoping to schedule a newborn session, please contact me BEFORE your baby arrives. My schedule is super tight this fall…if you wait until after the baby arrives, I can’t guarantee that I will have a session available, so please plan ahead! :)

The day we met for this session, it was an absolutely perfect evening! I’ve had the pleasure of photographing both their newborn sessions…they are such cuties and their expressions are priceless…so fun. :) Some of my faves…

I recently met Miss Harper and her sweet family on a beautiful evening for the 6 month session of her Bebe Plan (she’s the pretty little newborn in all the pink in my blog banner :)). As you can see, she’s still just as adorable as ever…those eyes and cheeks! :) Six months is one of my very favorite ages to photograph because they are just delightful, always filled with great expressions, and curiously taking in the world around them. She was a breeze to photograph. Enjoy my faves….

She loved standing and holding on to my chair. She’s gonna be a mover and a shaker I think! And that hat?!?! Precious.

These 2 beautiful little ladies are always such a joy to work with. We met in Omaha at the old Burlington building downtown for their session. I had never shot there before, but let me just say, it’s a photographer’s H-E-A-V-E-N!! (Evident by the several other photographers that were there shooting as well.) So many rich colors, great textures…and the light was divine. I wish I could pick it up and transport the whole location to Lincoln. I just love the colors in their dresses with the urban backdrop….so yummy!

Miss Busybody was on the go! The only way to keep her still was to get her up off the ground or in something…and even then she was quick to escape! There were so many more interesting things to look at than a lady with a big black box in front of her face. :)

Now if he isn’t one of the most handsome little fellas I don’t know who is! I was so excited to see Rece again…he’s almost 9 months already and cruisin’ around everywhere. Definitely a little man on the go! :)

Forewarning…this is going to be a mega photo post!! :) Miss Halle is one of the happiest babies I have ever met! I think she smiled from the time she arrived at her session until the very end. Yay for me!! I especially love this age and all the great expressions that come along with it.

Dan & Amanda…it has been an absolute pleasure working with your family. I adore Halle to pieces and she couldn’t have 2 nicer parents. I’m apologizing now for showing so many in your gallery…I just couldn’t narrow it down any further!! ;)

I’ve been photographing this family for a couple years now, and it’s always such a joy to have their beautiful faces in front of my lens. After a few reschedules due to the infamous Nebraska rain, wind, heat…we finally were able to meet….only to have a gorgeous day…up until a few minutes before the session started. Gotta love Nebraska!! The sky was getting increasingly darker, but we were determined to make it work as we were both headed on vacations. Love the colors in this session.

*tap, tap* Is this thing on??? Hello, hello….sorry for the blog drought these past couple weeks! We are home from our 2 week vacation and getting settled into our regular routine again…or trying to anyway. Two weeks was just the perfect amount of time off…plenty of time to completely relax and enjoy ourselves, but any longer and 5 people living out of suitcases would make my head spin. We spent our full 2 weeks in Minnesota and I’m convinced that any cabin on a Minnesota lake is nothing short of heaven. A good time was had by all!

Shortly before vacation I opened fall sessions dates, and they are booking FAST! Sessions were first released to previous clients, but are now open to anyone who would like to book. Once again, it’s going to be a very busy fall. Please, please….I beg you….do not wait until the last minute to inquire about a session. Most weekend dates have been filled, but there still are some times available for the weekday evening. If you’re considering a session or have a newborn due to arrive this fall, contact me now to get on the schedule.

I also photographed this sweet little lady and her family before I left for vacation. They make my job incredibly easy, and I have many faves from this session.

It was such a joy to have this family in front of my lens. Our goal was to capture Silas at 6 months and to get some natural images of them interacting as a family. This was our first session together and these images perfectly portray what a super sweet family they are. So much love for this little boy. Sweet little Aubrey & Lily came back to see me last week for their 6 month session. We decided to divide up the sessions, so this post is some of my favorites from our first session, and we’ll meet up again soon…as the weather allows! Our first goal was to capture a nice family picture and then some relationship shots with mom and dad and each of the babes. I loved their outfits, so stinkin’ adorable!!

This family has been a delight to work with over the last year! Alexander just completed the final session of his Bebe Plan. It’s always a bittersweet time for me (and all the parents as well), I’m always so sad to see these little ones grow and change so quickly, but also truly excited to see the little people they are becoming….and always absolutely humbled to have shared in such special times with my clients.

Alexander is most definitely Mr. Personality. He turned on the charm at the first click of the shutter, and didn’t stop until we were done. What a trooper! Lots of favorites from this session, so I’m sharing a bunch…he has way too many great expressions not to. Enjoy!

I’ve been photographing so many of my winter rush baby planners these past few months (I can’t believe they are all six months already!! *pout*)…and Chloe is yet another. She is an absolute doll and was definitely waaay more interested in ~~touching, pulling, eating~~ the grass and taking in the surroundings than looking at me. With a lot of persistence and a bit of luck we were able to capture some great images. Here’s a peek of the fun we had out at the park.

Inspecting this handle was much more interesting than my tactics. Look at those cheeks though. ;)

Love this one.

She had so many great expressions. These furrowed, perplexed brows were my favorite. I’m fairly certain this is when mom and I were singing to get her attention. Again, more interested in the grass and looked up for just a nanosecond.

Different outfit….more grass picking. :)
