This was my first time meeting this family and they were so easy to work with…not always the case with 4 siblings (#5 just arrived this week!!)….but they were true naturals. Not to mention…complete stunners! And HELLO, their outfits, BINGO….PERFECT! Gorgeous all around.

Yikes! I just realized it’s been nearly a month since I’ve blogged! Bad blogger. I’ve been busy, busy, busy shooting adorable kiddos and families this fall. Tons and tons of sessions to share. Stay tuned!

FYI: I am booked for the remainder of 2011 except for newborn sessions. If you’re hoping to schedule a newborn session, please contact me BEFORE your baby arrives. My schedule is super tight this fall…if you wait until after the baby arrives, I can’t guarantee that I will have a session available, so please plan ahead! :)

I first had the pleasure of photographing Cash shortly after his parents brought him home 2 years ago. I have been fortunate enough to have them make a trip down from Minnesota to see me for the past 2 summers, and I always look forward to see them. Every time I see them I try to convince his parents to go on vacation and leave him with me so I can get my fix. :) He is just too gorgeous for words!

I couldn’t believe how much he had changed from the previous year. This next one was him just last year!!

…and now! Can you believe that?!? Oh how I wish they wouldn’t grow up so darn fast!

So stinkin’ handsome! :)

The day we met for this session, it was an absolutely perfect evening! I’ve had the pleasure of photographing both their newborn sessions…they are such cuties and their expressions are priceless…so fun. :) Some of my faves…

These 2 beautiful little ladies are always such a joy to work with. We met in Omaha at the old Burlington building downtown for their session. I had never shot there before, but let me just say, it’s a photographer’s H-E-A-V-E-N!! (Evident by the several other photographers that were there shooting as well.) So many rich colors, great textures…and the light was divine. I wish I could pick it up and transport the whole location to Lincoln. I just love the colors in their dresses with the urban backdrop….so yummy!

Miss Busybody was on the go! The only way to keep her still was to get her up off the ground or in something…and even then she was quick to escape! There were so many more interesting things to look at than a lady with a big black box in front of her face. :)

Miss Stella captured my heart the first time we met…at her newborn session (which seems like just yesterday). She is 2 now and is one of the sweetest, smartest, most beautiful children I know…and her family is pretty great too! :)

These 2 sisters are so beautiful…inside and out. They have given me so much joy (and laughter!) over the past few years of photographing them, and it has been wonderful watching them grow and change and to see their personalities emerge and flourish. Besides their outward beauty, they are also intelligent, loving, witty, a bit sassy, a lot silly….and absolutely charming. Just my kind of girls. They also happen to adore me and are always very excited for pictures…that helps too!! Seeeeeee…I told you they were charming. ;)

This is Ashley…she is the middle of 3 sisters (well, for now, mom is due with sibling #4 around Christmas!)…

Her personality encompasses everything they say about middle children…:)

This is Lauren…she captured my heart a long time ago.

This was Lauren’s response to me asking, “Can you show me your best serious face?” I did not pose her, she did it all on her own…could you ask for more?? A favorite from this session for sure!

Do you see what I see? She’s a spunky one! :)

Prior to this session, we’ve always done their sessions separate. This time I suggested we combine them into one session and do some sibling shots at the end. I made the tent just for their session, but by the time we brought it out they were getting to the point of being done (and the light was fading quickly)…but I seriously love this set of images. It’s exactly what I had envisioned…just them…loving…laughing…being sisters. The last one is one of my favorite images EVER, I just love it!!

I’ve been photographing this family for a couple years now, and it’s always such a joy to have their beautiful faces in front of my lens. After a few reschedules due to the infamous Nebraska rain, wind, heat…we finally were able to meet….only to have a gorgeous day…up until a few minutes before the session started. Gotta love Nebraska!! The sky was getting increasingly darker, but we were determined to make it work as we were both headed on vacations. Love the colors in this session.

He is such a cutie! Love this smile!

This session was SO much fun….and I completely adore these people! They are genuinely sweet and all around wonderful, not to mention so gorgeous that they make my job incredibly easy. We had so much fun with the drum set and were thoroughly entertained…complete with an original song and drum solo. ;) So hard to choose my faves from this session, so I grabbed a bunch.

Just a quick schedule update…Fall session booking for previous clients opens July 22nd and everyone else on August 8th. I’ve had so many fun sessions lately…lots to blog…so stay tuned! The weather has been pretty darn good to me so far this summer….hot….okay REALLY hot (this last week especially)…on those days I count the sessions as my workout for the day, so it’s all good. ;) Hey…it’s only fair, right? You’ll recognize these first boys as I’ve photographed them several times in the past. This might be my favorite session yet! Nate is now 2 which is such a great age to photograph, so natural, carefree, and genuine…the images are always such a true representation of who they are. We were so lucky to get images of the boys together too. I absolutely adore them.

Not sure what else to say but that she makes me S-M-I-L-E! Eighteen months is always one of the ages where you kind of hold your breath and jump in with both feet full speed ahead, but Miss Samantha did quite amazingly. We had a very minor mini meltdown near the end of the session, but I will say we were very much pushing her limits at that time. We may or may not have been coaxing her with some gold fish crackers. Shhhhh! Oh…the life of an 18 month old…it’s so tough to be adorable. Haha!

I adore these images and I completely adore her.

I love this one. Her smile and her little footsies. :)

These next 2 expressions melt me.

I loved the simple purple outfit with the vibrant green grass.
