sneak peek | Lincoln Nebraska Family Photographer

This family was such a joy to work with!

In a phone conversation before the session, Mom tells me that for some reason Lily doesn’t like getting her picture taken lately.
I assure mom that we will have lots of fun and my sessions are not typical and/or boring so I was sure she would do fine.
About 10 minutes into the session Lily asks, “How much longer? How many more photos?”
A few minutes later I think she realized we really were going to have a good time.
We talked about boys (gross!), and bugs (even grosser!), and what it was like being eight.
(I think she was surprised that I knew the mannerisms of an eight year old all too well. My oldest daughter is nine.)
Throughout it all, I snapped a lot of images.
Towards the end of the session, Lily even had some of her own poses she wanted to try.
And as we were saying goodbye, she asks, “When will I see you again?”

Oh Lily….you’re such a sweet girl.  A BEAUTIFUL sweet girl. I’m so glad you had fun. And I hope I get to see you again! :)

nina pomeroy - These are just gorgeous. That family shot is something everyone strives for!!

Lisa Kelly - First of all, she looks way more grown up then 8. I think the parents are going to have boys knocking all too soon LOL. She’s beautiful and she looks incredibly relaxed. You did an amazing job.

Hi everyone! *waves* Yep, I’m still around!  The kids are back in school and hopefully fall is right around the corner!  Anyone else wishing it would come sooner rather than later?  I know I am.  I am dreaming of cooler temps, golden foliage, lots of cozy layers, and everything else that comes with fall….a little FOOTBALL anyone??  I’ve rescheduled quite a few sessions because of the unbearable heat, it’s just no fun for anyone…and everyone knows fun is what I’m all about! :)  I’ve had a few sessions here and there, but many clients have opted to wait a bit until it’s a little less steamy out there, which is entirely understandable.

Miss Ava and I were able to meet up on a gorgeous day…the light was beautiful, the weather was perfect, and Miss Ava is just oh so lovely!  A little shy and unsure at first, but I think I had won her over by the end of the session.  And that always makes me smile.

Big sister Ella snuck in for a couple!  Aren’t they adorable?!?!  They’ll be adding a new baby sister to their family very soon!  Can’t wait to meet her!

I LOVE this one! :)

Lisa Kelly - I love the progression of her more shy shots into her full blown laughter. Amazing use of light and your colours are heavenly. Beautiful girls and images.

This little bub was an absolute dream to work with….especially being 3 weeks old (Miss Claire got a little extra TLC in the NICU before coming to see me), but all is well and she is just as perfect as ever.  I have a bunch of faves from this session, and many of them are just subtly different, but I just couldn’t narrow them down any further.  She is such a beautiful baby girl.

She was soooooo pretty in the pink set up.  I just ADORE these!

I love her little face.  Her nose…and lips…and that precious little chin. Yum! :)

SUPER DUPER LOVE!

She was very alert for about 10 minutes, then went back to sleeping soundly.  Perfect for a few shots with those gorgeous peepers open. :)

And…the last shot of the session…she gave me a little grin. The perfect ending!!

Corey Sewell - These are absolutely gorgeous, Sarah! I can see why you had a hard time narrowing them down!

The Shore - What a lovely little girl! The pink setup is fantastic. Great variety too…the parent’s will want them all!

Camilla Photography - The 3rd one down..holy cow! I about died! Well, all of them really, but that sweet baby against the soft pink is so amazing. Awh!
I don’t photography babies anymore but if I did I would want them to look like this. ;)

Tracy WAldrop - I love the zebra headband!! Would love to know where you purchased if you did. These are really great – the post-processing is awesome!!
