For the past 3 years, some photographer friends and I have scheduled a little get together to have a bit of “downtime” during our crazy busy season. We normally throw in a little networking, some brainstorming, and an educational day…add a dash of some drinks and a pinch of karaoke, and it’s always a recipe for a good time.This year we had about 15 people from a bunch of different states and a good time was had by all.

It’s great to catch up with friends, meet new ones, let our hair down a little bit, and come home feeling re-energized. To-do list….POOF!…Be gone!!!

This year while visiting, I photographed my good friend Kimberly Smoot and her family.
