Hmmmm….where to start with this little lady?!? She’s another one I’ve been photographing since she was just itty bitty, and has gorgeous brown eyes just like her younger sister…they will be welcoming #3 to their family just in time for Christmas too! Me thinks they will have a wonderfully active and vivacious household for the next few years!![]()
Lauren is one of the most animated (and energetic
) little people I have ever met! She reminds me a lot of my middle daughter….curious…quirky… engaging…imaginative…and she could talk.your.ear.off.
We went from singing songs to rescuing Dora in the secret castle to singing in the (pretend) rain to scouting for trains…never a dull moment! I’m almost certain anyone who saw us in the Haymarket that night thought we were a bit kooky! Hey…it’s all in the name of fun….and great photos…so it’s totally worth it!
One of my favorite one liners of the night…I sometimes say to the kids…”Hey…did you know that my feet taste like <insert funny food here>?” This always elicits a priceless reaction from the smaller kiddos. Lauren was no exception. I asked her what she thought her feet tasted like and she said “strawberries…strawberry feet” and burst into laughter. I love this one…

Later that night I got a sweet message from Lauren’s mom…I wanted to share it with you as I thought it was just too funny! Here is an excerpt:
Thanks again for being so patient with Lauren – if you manage to get some good images from that session, you’ll be a miracle worker! If nothing else, she’s pretty funny – on the way home she said “Mommy, I like Sarah but I was naughty.” Her words exactly!!! And then she added that evil little laugh. ARRRGH!
Ahhhh…..a girl after my own heart!![]()

No idea what I said or did to get this look, but I like it!![]()

I love these next two.

…and these last two I just think are super fun. These were the last two images of the session, she was beyond done with me at this point. Geez….I need to borrow some of that energy!! Heheheeee!
