Gavin on day 6…

Like I’ve said many, many times before, I’m always just utterly amazed at how different and unique each newborn babe is. I can’t really even describe it…I think it almost leaves me speechless….almost. :) I am always asked….Do you ever get sick of photographing newborns?….the answer is NO! NEVER! How could you? One more “branch” added to someone’s tree, one more “dream” yet to accomplish, one more “moment” in somebody’s forever. There is just something so incredibly beautiful and pure about photographing a brand new life…..with no flaws, no imperfections….filled only with love, hope and endless possibility. I feel incredibly blessed, and honored…and humbled, to be invited to share in such an amazing moment with so many families.

This little man was just the sweetest little guy ever. Such a pretty baby…yes, boys can be pretty too! His hair, lips, defined chin, and ears were all just sweet perfection. :) I was so excited when Gavin’s mom told me she was expecting again, as I’ve had a wonderful time getting to know their family and kiddos over the past couple years, and little man Gavin was no exception….can’t wait to watch him grow!!

Enjoy! :)

It was a day just for the boys, I loooooove this one…the elusive 2.5 year old big sis wanted nothing to do with the new baby! ;) (It’s okay, we’ll get it next time!)
