These are a few of my favorite things…

Hi everyone!

Long time, no post!  Well……….the busy, crazy, INSANE season is finally coming to an end.  Holiday cards are designed and the last of them have been sent off to the printer.  All orders received before the holiday deadline should be back here very soon, so things are just about wrapped up.  As I wait for everything to come back from the printers, I’ll be baking cookies, watching football, and spending some time doing holiday stuff with my family. :)

I had hoped to post this earlier, but I know there has to be some late holiday shoppers out there like me ;)….so I wanted to post “My Favorite Things”…hey….if Oprah can do it, so can I, right???  ;)

 1. Victoria Secret Beauty Rush Lip Gloss – I’m so addicted to this stuff.  They have so many yummy flavors you’ll need one for your purse, your make-up bag, the car, your coat……I think you get the idea!!  My absolute FAVE is the “Grapilicious” flvor!  I really love it because it doesn’t dry out your lips like most lip gloss can.  These would make greaaaaaaaaaaaat stocking stuffers!!

2. Pediped Shoes – I LOVE these shoes….my youngest has several pair.  The soles are soft and flexible which is especially important for little feet with developing arches.  Most of you know my youngest has gone to physical therapy since birth…did you know that hard soled shoes, ie. Nike and Target are really NOT good for little feet?  The hard sole doesn’t allow for the full motion of their feet when walking, therefore they end up walking “flat footed” and not from the ball of their feet.  I promise you the price is worth it, they are perfectly fine and durable for outdoor use too.

3. Mountain Girl Silver – This jewlery company offers cool yet affordable necklaces and other personalized jewlery.  I ordered a necklace after seeing a client’s necklace, and everywhere I go I get asked where I got it.  You get to choose the text and font, and can add little symbols as well.  Dad’s…this one is for you…HINT, HINT!!

4. iPod Touch – Want an iPhone, but don’t want to deal with AT & T!  This super cool gadget is your solution.  The iPod Touch has all the capabilities of the iPhone, except for the actual phone part.  I love it for syncing abilities within calendars and email, and my kids love all the fun aps you can add.

5. The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer – I’ve only read book one from the set, but the remaining three are definitely on my “to-do” list in my down season.  I just saw the movie last night and I must say I thought it was AMAAAAAAAZING.  A great book for anyone who likes to read.

6. Tommy Bahama Reed Diffuser – These smell so, SO delicious!!  I smelled them in two different client’s homes and I was hooked.  Unlike most reed diffusers that fade after a while, these smell WONDERFUL the entire time.  My favorites are the ‘Topanga’ and ‘Paradise’.  So yummy!!

7. Kid K’nex -  Okay….these aren’t actually my favorite, but my kids absolutely LOVE them!!  These keep my kids busy for hours (seriously!) and they are so proud when they come show me what they’ve made.  Kid K’nex are perfect for kids ages 3-8, and then they also have just the regular K’nex for the older kids.
