Well, we are back from vacation, and I’m trying to get back into the groove of things! We had a WONDERFUL time on our trip! Lots of fishing, and relaxing, and laughing…did I mention fishing? :) We just had a fun, fun time! I hope to go back some day!
Once we arrived at the resort (base camp) we were flown another 100 miles north by sea plane to our outpost cabin. Everything was so beautiful! The scenery and landscape was BREATHTAKING! Everything seemed almost surreal, the colors were beyond anything I imagined…the sunrises, sunsets, the trees, water, everything!
Wouldn’t you know, my husband, the rookie fisherman caught the largest fish…a 33 1/2 inch northern!!! I caught the biggest walleye at 23 1/2 inches. We had to release both of them as they were over the size limits, but I sure was fun reeling them in!
