Featured family…The Eickhoffs

Meet the Eickhoff family. What a fun-loving family, and an absolute JOY to work with. These little guys definitely kept me on my toes, with personalities all their own! Owen, a dinosaur lover, was quite the ham, a natural poser. And Nolan, a free spirit who loved his John Deere! I have a feeling these little guys were true country boys at heart!! :) There were so many great pics to choose from, it was hard to pick so I’m sharing with you the ones that are my top picks…ENJOY!!

And my favorite?? There’s just something about this last image that represents the true innocence and simplicity of childhood. Something to fondly look back on!

Thank you Eickhoff family, it’s been my pleasure!!

Jennifer Eickhoff - We can’t wait to see all of these pictures!!! If trying to get good pictures with small children can be fun, we had a great time. : ) But seriously, it is rare that a photographer captures the soul of a family that they barely know. Obviously, just by looking at these few pictures, you’ve done that and more. Thank you so much for taking the time and having the patience to do what you do – you definitely have a gift!

Featured session….have a peek at Nathan!!

I’ve had the priviledge of photographing Nathan since he was just itty bitty (seems so long ago). It’s always so fun to see the kids change from wrinkled newborns to curious infants to vibrant toddlers. Nathan just turned 6 months, and was ever the 6 month old…fingers always in the mouth, (Which are my favorites!)…and we definitely got some good ones. Then again, how could we not with such an adorable model? I’m sharing a handful of my personal favorites!

How could you not love this expression? Too fun!!

These hat pictures were hard to choose from. I chose a less obvious favorite.

I loved this image because I can just imagine how soft and babylike those cheeks feel.

So overjoyed! Such an expressive little guy! CUTE, CUTE, CUTE!!!

Loving his blankey.

These last 2 tie for my favorite images of the session:

“Just loungin’, chewin’ on my fingers, and wonderin’ if you’re done taking my picture yet?”

What a doll!!

Thanks Armstrong Family for the great opportunity!

Oh my darling….

Just thought I’d share my youngest little one with all of you, she’s getting so big! We had lots of natural light beaming in our window today…so great for picture taking. Enjoy!

“Mom, whatcha doin’ with that big black thing in front of your face?”

“I’m layin on my tummy everyone, and lookin’ all around, and yes, I still have crazy hair!”

“My cute chubby little toes.”

My personal favorite, how can you resist those cheeks?

For all my blog readers out there, I am so excited to announce I was just accepted to the International Registry of Children’s Photographers (www.irocp.com)!! I’m so very honored to have had my application excepted!

As quoted from their site:

The International Registry of Children’s Photographers (IROCP) is an organization of exceptional artists specializing in Fine Art Children’s Photography.

The members listed here are dedicated to promoting honesty and artistry in children’s portraiture. Each artist is committed to photographing children respectfully….not commanding them to look a certain way, or force a fake smile. With this approach, a child’s true spirit is allowed to shine through, as evident in the resulting image.

IROCP was formed by the International Guild of Children’s Photographers when they realized that the ART of children’s photography was not appropriately represented by any significant association. The lack of a resource such as this made it difficult for families to find photographers truly passionate about capturing children in an honest and dignified manner. IROCP.com was the obvious solution.
Our goal is to provide a simple, reliable way for these clients to find a photographer who will meet their needs.

The screening process for inclusion in this highly-regarded group is comprehensive and, as such, membership is comprised of the very best children’s photographic artists in the world. They see your children as the future, and go the extra mile to make a difference.

Thanks for stopping by!
