My status: Married, with 3 delightful little girls

What I do: Fine art portraiture of children and families

A good source of inspiration for me is… My own kiddos, other photographers, books & magazines…the desire of wanting to get that perfect shot!

What sets my personal style aside from another photographer… I really try to capture the true spirit in each of my subjects. The innocence of a newborn, stubborn-ness of a toddler, and the heart felt moments within a family.

3 things I have on me for every photography shoot… Hopefully my camera, of course! Many extra CF cards, extra sync cord (had to find out the hard way on that one), and a lint roller

My favorite piece of equipment… My camera? I really love Photoshop CS2, there are so many things you can do!

Best thing a client’s ever said to me…I’m appreciative of all the compliments I get. Someone once told me I was a miracle worker with their 2 year old, I initially thought, “it’s just pictures”, then I realized it’s a lot more than pictures….it’s a moment!

My favorite saying…A picture is not just a record of what you look like, but rather who you are.

My favorite beauty product… Clinique Super Moisterizing Serum (especially now) and I couldn’t live without my Chapstick Medicated lip balm…I love that tingly feeling.

Something I love to do for myself…reading, looking through decorating magazines, keeping up on the latest photo news!

My favorite mid-day snack is… frozen Gogurt

Something I love, but am embarrased to share…I TiVo the Tyra Banks Show everyday. My husband can not believe it!

Favortie music…I like a lot of different things…I’m a Gemini, so it depends on my mood. I like something a little different, something eclectic….old songs redone, folk and blues, etc.
